The Flora table was born from a simple idea: what if your dining table embraced the curves of the living world? Its organic contours, free from any straight line, evoke the softness of a petal, the fluidity of a leaf. Crafted in MORTEX® at our Belgian workshop in Steenokkerzeel, each table is handmade, piece by piece, to your exact dimensions and chosen colour.

Flora is not just another dining table. It is a visual anchor, warm and alive, that fits as naturally in a clean contemporary interior as in a more classic space. MORTEX® polished concrete gives it a deep mineral texture, smooth to the touch, and a presence that industrial materials simply cannot match.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can the Flora table seat, and can the dimensions be customised?
The model shown (179 x 100 cm) comfortably seats 6 to 8 people, depending on the desired spacing between guests. As a general rule, we recommend allowing 60 to 70 cm per seat. Since the Flora is made to measure in our Belgian workshop in Steenokkerzeel, you are free to choose your own dimensions: longer for a large dinner party, more compact for an intimate space. The standard height is 75 cm, but it can easily be adjusted (74, 76 cm, or 90 cm for bar use). The only real constraint is the stability and visual harmony of the base, which we work out together with you.
Is MORTEX® resistant to everyday use: wine stains, scratches, knocks?
This is often the first question, and the answer is reassuring. Our MORTEX® polished concrete tables receive several coats of solvent-based varnish that effectively protect the surface against common stains: wine, oil, water. There is no need to rush for a cloth at the slightest spill. Once the varnish is fully dry, the surface also offers very good resistance to scratches and knocks. The only point to bear in mind is direct heat: the MORTEX® itself handles it well, but the protective varnish does not appreciate having a pan straight from the hob or a piping-hot dish placed directly on it. A trivet is all it takes to avoid any issue. Day-to-day maintenance simply requires a soft cloth.
Can the Flora table be used outdoors?
The Flora, in its current version, is designed for indoor use. If you are looking for a MORTEX® concrete table for a terrace or garden, we manufacture models specifically designed for outdoor use in our Belgian workshop: the structure, finishes and protection are fully adapted to withstand the elements, frost and UV rays. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss it further, as we can design a custom outdoor version to suit your needs.
What are the lead times, and is it possible to visit the workshop before placing an order?
Every Flora table is crafted by hand, piece by piece, in our workshop in Steenokkerzeel. The usual production lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. For a highly specific project, allow 10 to 12 weeks. Before you commit, you are welcome to visit the workshop to see and touch pieces in progress, and to choose your MORTEX® shade from a physical sample rather than a screen. Delivery is made to ground floor level, and on-site installation is available at an additional cost, both in Belgium and in France.

Our decorative items and other MORTEX® furniture are made to order, custom-made, and especially for you.

For our customers in France and elsewhere, if your region does not appear in our delivery options, we invite you to contact us directly so that we can offer you a tailor-made solution.

You will receive a unique item, made in our workshop. Our return policy and right of withdrawal differ from the standard policy for this reason.

Flora, where material finds its softness

Flora is a dining table born from a simple desire: that MORTEX®, so often associated with architectural and mineral lines, should also reveal its capacity for softness. Its crafted forms and curves, carefully considered in the workshop, give it a warm presence without ever compromising the strength of the material. Made to measure in our Belgian workshop in Steenokkerzeel, each Flora is hand-cast, sanded and varnished with the care that MORTEX® and polished concrete demand.

At the table, Flora settles in naturally, without imposing itself. Its matte, living surface, available in more than 80 shades from the Beal colour chart, catches the light differently depending on the time of day and the season. Dimensions, colour, base: everything is decided with you, so that the table adapts to your space and not the other way around.

Do you deliver outside Belgium?

Yes, we deliver throughout Europe, including France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

More distant destinations such as the United States, Canada, or Dubai are also possible, without any particular difficulty. Simply contact us to arrange a customized delivery.

What are the manufacturing and delivery times?

Each table is handcrafted to order. Please allow an average of 4 to 6 weeks for production, followed by secure delivery within 5 business days via private carrier.

Can I return my order?

Our made-to-order models (dimensions, colors, personalized finishes) are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Only models in stock, without customization, can be returned according to our conditions.

How do I maintain my table on a daily basis?

A simple soft cloth and a little warm water are all you need for daily maintenance. Our premium finishes effectively protect against everyday stains (wine, oil, coffee, etc.).

To preserve the original appearance over the long term, we recommend the use of placemats, trivets or suitable protections in the event of more intensive use (fondue, raclette, etc.).

Do you offer payment in installments?

Yes, depending on your country and the options offered by our service providers, payment options are available: deferred (30 days) or in several installments without fees via Alma, Klarna or Paypal, directly from your basket.
